  Sodium Alginate (Textile Grade) (08/29/2005)
Sodium alginate won't react with active dyestuffs and form covalent bond due to its own second hydroxyl in its structure without the origin hydroxyl, and strong cathodic carboxyl on its basal ring. Therefore, it doesn't only absorb the dyestuffs, but also excludes it. It is easy to move the dyestuff from the paste to the fiber, which benefits keeping clearness and uniformity of printing. Accordingly, the printing effect is clear, vivid, with high dyeing quantity, good hand touch and firm degrees at the same time. Sodium alginate of medium and low viscosity types is both suitable for net or roll style printing requirements and handwork printing. Owning to rheological property of pseudo-plasticity, which means that it will turn watery when being cut and restore the original viscidity after losing cutting, this additive is applied to printing fine flower patterns in full ground printing and wet printing, featuring refined line, clear profile and good uniformity.

  Sodium Alginate (Food Grade) (12/16/2005)
Sodium alginate is widely used in the food industry. Applications: 1) Synthetic food: sodium alginate is the main material of seaweed, synthetic grape and synthetic cherry 2) Iced food: sodium alginate is taken as a stabilizer of ice cream due to its dense organization and slow solution speed. It is also the main material of dainty cold powder and jelly 3) Cake food: as a stabilizer of cake, cookies, bread, fine dried noodle, and chocolates, sodium alginate can keep sweet scent for cookies and avoid falling into pieces. It makes noodle smooth and reduces breaking ratio of noodles and fragmentation of bread. Sodium alginate is also a good thickener of jam, chili sauce, jelly, tomato ketchup, fishpaste, pudding and salad flavoring 4) Drinking: sodium alginate can act as the stabilizer of beer and clarifier of wine 5) Cold storage and fresh keeping: when fruits, fish and other foods are covered with the film of sodium alginate to be kept isolated from air, the film will stop bacteria from invading, constraint water evaporation of food itself and prolong time of preservation

  Carrageenan (09/18/2005)
The Kara rubber fine powder is used in crystal soft sugar and frozen fruits. The coagulation forms the high transparent colloid as the main raw material, suitable for pouring in model snacks. Carrageenan is with fast shape congealing speed, easy membrane escaping function and is not garrulous. The rich colloid elasticity is ideal for mold diversification. For ice products, its role is substitutes the gelatin and CMC with even better emulsification and stable performance, preventing contraction and melting function time delay, in addition to enhancing product expansion rate and reducing cost. It can be used in meat products; including ham sausage for meat structure reorganization, intestines body elasticity, and water freshness. The Kara block glue shape is used in cakes, pastries, jam, and tomato seasoning, for conformal function and good plasticity.
